Butterflies....

Just thought I would pop in and share what I created for Maya'sroom yesterday!! With the help of Maya punching out the butterflies  and my father in law helping to make he frame , this is what we made....

Sorry its not the best picture but you get the idea! I once saw a mobile like this in an expensive bedding shopand thought I could makemy own. It looks much better IRL! It was great because Maya could help to make it because she loves using my punches. Now Will wants a star one!!!

Speaking of Will...he had a dressup day today at school for book week and he dressed up as the dingle dangle scarecrow. How adorable does he look!!!

On the scrappy front I just got back from a visit to melbourne where I went to paperific.I spent way too much but had a ball. A HUGE thanks to Lisa Marsh for taking such good care of us and PAULA for letting us stay with her and her pets!!! I finally got to see her Studio (PAULA"S SCRAPBOOKING PLACE).

And to Lisa , Vikki, Tan and Jen thanks for an awesome evening and seriously Vikki you are the best storyteller I have ever met!! I would pay to watch a Lisa and Vikki show!!!Seriously these women are amongst some of the funniest, generous and gorgeous people I have ever met. I just wished we lived

closer!!!I laughed so hard all day and night!!!

I also after 2 years got to meet Stacey and Angela from Scrapapple...http://www.scrapapple.com.au/even though they had no idea who I was when I tapped them on the shoulder!!And I met Mel Pizzinga and Jas (sorry Jas I have forgotten your last name!!!Its so nice to finally meet some awesome chicks that I talk to in Cyber space!

I have been creating but can only sharethis one for the moment. Yep, its another Indie Girl layout.I love this photo of Steve and Maya.

INDIE GIRL....

I have been playing with the new "Indie Girl" range by Sass the last few days ....

And this one of Will.I love the versatility of this range. Its great for boys and girls layouts. And I still have heaps more left over so will be playing with it again!

I just wanted to share with you some great products I have just bought from Sam at Old Favourites.

Also as promised ages ago here are some of my mums new flower designs. You now get 10 pieces in a pack.You choose the two colors you want and mum will make them. Heres a sample (minus a few as I used them LOL!)

You get 2 large singles, 2 doubles (one of each chosedn color) , 2 multi colored flowers, two double colored circles and 2 funky flowers.

You will notice when you get your funky flowers we have left the cut off tie long. This is just because the can come untied to easy if you cut it off short. I have just been tucking it under my button when I adhere it to my page.So once again you can order themhere or email me at

The colors are  RED, WHITE, ORANGE, AQUA, LOLLY PINK, HOT PINK, YELLOW, LIME GREEN, GRASS GREEN.

Also the last layouts I showed you for the bliss kits are already sold out so I have created this one as a kit.

Dont you just the looks on their faces!!! Charlie is such a character! She always pulls faces at the camera and this photo is such a typical photo of her! Mind you the same day she also posed beautifully for the camera! A definate poser and show pony!!! And Will's face is priceless!!!

KITS......

Just thought I would share some layouts i have just created as kits for our LSS Bliss. The kits include papers, and various embellies and instructions to do the layouts . Here are my latest ones....

 I have used a lot of Sass Apple Jack for these and these both layout instructions come in the same kit.

This one is using some WER Memory keepers papers, collections journalling cards and word strips.

Have you ever???

Have you ever had a layout come together easier than normal and then ABSOLUTELY LOVE the results???? Well it did for me while doing this layout for the Kraft it up challenge this month. I dont think I would normally say this but I LOVE this layout!!!!!It came together in just over 4o minutes (even hubby couldnt believe how quickly I did this one!!!) and the colors were so different to what I would normally use but they were so much fun. I painted, inked, stamped...you name it! I got dirty and messy and loved it!!!

I have also been creating with my latest DT kit from Scrapapple. I got the new Kaiser line called Hippie Girl to play with. These are the two layouts I created. I loved the little journalling tag book that I used in this first one! So fun and an easy way to introduce the different colors and patterns into your layout plus adding somegreat space for journalling.

I also created this crazy layout for the latest Scrap the girls challenge.

She really is a show pony who loves to make us laugh!!!!

I have also been creating some class kits for our local scrap shop "Bliss" but Im a dill and din't take any photos!!! Will post them later., but you can see some pics here!Sarah sells the kits with instructions to my layouts so if you are interested you can contact her to get your hands on them.You can also kit kits created by the very talented Mellany Ams and Kerry Snell!!! Two awesome scrappers!!!

Anyway, it has been a crazy week here....we have all had gastro (fun!), I saw Shannon Noll (yum!) and now Maya has what I think is an ear infection so off to the doctors this afternoon!

WOW!!!

It only took 20 minutes for Lisa to sell out of the latest storyboard kit "Beckett".......congrats Lisa!!!!
