Always last minute!!!

Once again its a mad dash to blog the layouts I have created for various challenges this month!!  At least I'm consistent! LOL!
This layout is based on the colour challenge/mood board at Sassy Scrappers.
I loved these colours so I created my layout mostly inspired by the colours!

Lot's of watercolour paints and mists mixed with stitching and stamping and another piece from the 2 Crafty chipboard circular panel.

The next one is also a colour challenge this time for Scrap Friends......

Once again a background full of watercolour dripped down white cardstock, washi tape, and stamping not only with ink but embossed with gold embossing powder! the gold rub ons and glitter stars are all Studio Calico.

Thanks for stopping by and for your generous comments. Eb xx

White with Latte...

I gave this month's "White with one challenge" a go this month.
            The colours were :

I have used lots of paint, gelatos, rub ons and stamping to create my background and added strips of various washi tapes to add interest. This is so not my usual colour choice but I really enjoyed putting it together and was happy with how it turned out!
Thanks for popping by, Eb xx

Crazy back to school pics and some veneers...

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to share this layout I created featuring the awesome set of exclusively made "back to school veneer set" by A Piece of cake Designs.

I love using these sets! I love that you get a frame and some small embellishments to use as well!
I normally leave my veneers raw which i have done here but I inked the date piece with my ink pad to match my colour scheme of my layout!
The black alphas were left overs from my daughter's school pencil case!
Thanks for popping by!

2Crafty Creations

Hi again,
I just realised that I hadn't shared my last post from the 2 Crafty blog!
So Here you go....
I have used the "Groovy Flowers" as the main focus of my page. I have covered my page with gesso as well as the chipboard pieces and used Gelatos and mists to washi tapes to create the colour.

I have also used my all time favourite piece the "circular panel" . I often find myself reaching for this product and cutting off small pieced to add to my pages.
I also used the cute little "small butterflies".

This layout is created based on this month's challenge at "scrap the boys".
The challenge is a colour combo of
                                              GREENBLUE & YELLOW

I love these "revolution frames". I have used the smallest one in the set and painted with gelatos and mists!
And of course once again some more circles from the "circular panel". I love this summer photo of Will snorkelling! Perfect colour combo for this photo!

See you again soon, Eb xx

Hearts and bright colours!

Two elements that I love to use on my pages and two challenges this month included these things!

When I saw the awesome mood board on "Jot Magazine" this month I just had to give it a go!!!

I totally loved and was inspired by the bright colours and the cute little pictures of children and children inspired things. So I scrapped this layout of my children and all their cousins using all the colours in the mood board! I also was inspired by the circular elements on the board and chose to use some old offcuts of papers I had lying around my desk!

I also loved the challenge at "Scrap the girls" this month. The challenge was to use a doily and /or heart on your page. I didn't use a doily but I used some hearts and a picture of my gorgeous girl!

Be back real soon! Thanks for popping by , Eb x

A butterfly canvas

Above is a link to a youtube clip created by the very talented Christy Tomlinson. It is this video that inspired me to create my own butterfly canvas using last months cupcake kit.

I used scraps and leftover papers from this kit to start my canvas and I obviously have used a lot of my own mediums to create this canvas but the papers and MAMBI stickers were perfect to use on such a project!

I won't provide step by step instructions as you can watch the video for yourself! Have fun!

APOCD is sponsoring CSI #113....

Hi everyone ,
This month APOCD is sponsoring the challenges over at CSI.
Case file 113 has just opened and I have created a layout using the latest "cupcake kit" for this file.

As you can see lots of pink, white, beige and aqua in this case file and the papers worked beautifully for this challenge!

I have used not only the papers in the kit but also the stickers by MAMBI , the alphas and a cherry flair from the kit.The beige colour comes from tea staining.

I have fulfilled the criteria using butterflies and hearts and typewriter font journalling.Give it a go! Great prizes up for grabs!

Thanks for looking, Eb xx
