THANKS MUM.....

How clever is my mum!!??? I asked here if she knew how to make crochet flowers and she sat and sat, and workedit out. She has made them in allsorts of shapes, colors and sizes!! Can't wait to use them. I told her she should go into business and start selling them!!! So if you want some you'll have to hassle her!!!!

Did I tell you that I am in LOVE!!!......with Shannon Noll that is!!!! He was awesome in concert and even hotter in real life!!! He held my hand......I didn't want to wash it!!!!

Anyway...back to reality,here is my most recent LO I did for a challenge on the Boxx set by Mardi to use the colors red, pink and yellow on a LO. I have had these papers in my stash for so long now and they were perfect! It was great to use them.

Another LO to share...

I am loving sketches and challenges at the moment......

Here is my latest LO I created using a sketch at SCRAPABILITY SKETCHES. Bec does some awesome sketches and this one was REALLY fun to do. Those who know me know that I can never JUST stick to a sketch though!!!!! Always having to ADD to them and /or change them in some way. Here it is...

As the title reads..."love these photos except for the snot", I took these photos frecently while on Holidays at Pambula Beach and didn't notice her runny nose until after Ihad the photos printed. Yes...I thought of photoshopping it out but it seemed like a much more fun LO with the runny nose!!!!!

Bit excited...seeing Shannon Noll tomorrow night and we have awesome tickets!!!!

September sketch challenge at Annas Craft Cupboard...

Here is this months entry for the sketch challenge at Anna's Craft cupboard.

I am really pleased with how this turned out.

The colors haven't showed up so well in the photo but anyway, I'm happy and I enjoyed doing this challenge.Thanks Wendy...great sketch!

Latest Layout....

As I mentioned in my last post I had another layout to show you. I did this one also for the Artypants cyber crop. The challenge was to choose on of three given quotes and use it in your title or journalling.You also had to use two non scrappy items. So here is my LO. I really love this photo of Will and I love how the layout turned out. My two non scrappy items were string and staples....

I love this quote "If you wish to happy...then be".

Anyway, have been working on my first post for Paula's blog today.I will be posting every Wednesday about tips, techniques and ideas. I will be doing challenges and classes as well. Paula also has a ning site now which will be awesome when it gets going. Go here to sign up.

I'M BACK.....

From beautiful Merimbula that is. we had a great time....catching up with friends, great weather and the kids had a ball.

Haven't actually downloaded any pics yet so will have to share later.

Over the weekend I participated in a cyber crop at Artypants...as always I really enjoyed the cyber crop. There were great challenges and it is always great to chat to others as well. I have completed 3 out of the 4 challenges. I can show you two of them but I haven't photographed the last yet (which is my favourite). These two are not my fav LOs but they turned out OK.

This one was based on gaining inspiration from an ad. The ad was a little girl in a pink , white and green dress (from pumpkin patch) . Heres my take....

We had to also incorporate something old in our LO.I used old bookpaper and used a flower I have had in my stash for forever...

This one we had to incorporate the word Spring or Sprung in the title. Also create our own embellishment. Heres my take....

I twisted the theme a little bit from a spring like theme to a LO about Maya being Sprung in my scrap room doing this......very cute though...and a great scrappy page.
