Busy night...

Last night I enjoyed a date with my scrap desk! I had the best night just creating away, something I haven't done in a while! I created three layouts and a MASSIVE mess to go with it! LOL!!!
I actually have 4 layouts to share as I also had a go at the latest "Kraft it up" challenge which is to create a vintage style layout. Well normally I would read this and just say "NO WAY" but I decided to challenge myself!
Here is my layout and I promise the cardstock started off as kraft!!!!

This is a photo of my grandparents on their wedding day...so sweet! (1955)

SO out of my comfort zone here! I think there is like 15 layers of paints, mists, stamps, rubons, papers, embellishments and even a flower! Yep you read right a PRIMA flower!!!! LOL

Its still growing on me. I think its because the colours are muted and I love brights but none the less it is always good to push our comfort zones!

This next one is for a challenge I haven't done in ages! The Color Room".
                                         Here is the pallette...................

Not my usual colour choice but once again I wanted to try new things so here is my layout.
I must warn you its of a photo I have already scrapped. I am so running low on photos at the moment. Just seem to not have time to take them...sad I know.

Pulled out the sewing machine on this one along with some tea and some distress inks!

So then I decided to have a go at "White with one " this month.
The challenge is to use  WHITE + BLACK +BANNERS/BADGES.
I didn't add banners but I love these new "cherry flairs" by "A piece of cake designs".How perfect are these on this layout!?

More machine stitching and no surprises , more circles!!!

Simple layout but I love the simplicity of this one with the colour combo.

Next was the first sketch of the month at "Stuck sketches".

Changed colours on my sewing machine but more stitching...well lot's of stitching!!!!
A photo of Will playing his IPOD.

                                                             Another "cherry flair"

Well if you got through all of that well done!!!! Thanks for popping by,
Eb xx

Just awesome Eb. Your vintage is perfect. Still very you and love the flower and butterflies.
And you have inspired me to use my machine. It's out cause I had to use it to sew footy numbers on jumpers but have not used it for scrapping for ages. Might just try tonight.
Wish I could create 4 pages in a night.

Gee whizz...these are all sooo different...I'm loving the 'simple European style one' best, I THINK...but that stitching behind the photo one is AWESOME & gee, that Prima flower fits the vintage one perfectly.....wish I could scrap this quick. Spent 5 hours this arvo & got one ALMOST done...the more I'm scrapping, it seems the slower I'm getting!!! My challenge to you: snap a PILE of photos before the weekend's out!!!!
