The Hudson Kit......

Here are my 4 layouts I created withthis months storyboard kit "Hudson".I would have to say this has been my favourite kit so far........

And also guess what.......SCRAP THE BOYS IS BACK! YAH! And I am happy to say i am still on the creative team. This months challnge is called Freeze time. You need to use a special date as your title. I scrapped this pic of Wills first day of school this year.....

Scrap the Girls.....

Well I did tell you that I did my layout for this months scrap the girls challenge and here it is......

This month was a sketch challenge. I have added in an extra cluster of flowers than is in the sketch. Sorry its not the best photo of it.....but I have used vintage pink glimmer mist and some prima and Kaiser flowers and some new myminds eye stickers.

Get Picky....

I forgot to upload this one yesterday!!! I also tackled the sketch at Get Picky this month. Although you can see from my layout I kinda altered it a little as I went along.....unintentional but none the less I did use the sketch as my inspiration.....here it is!

I have used the elementary papers by Studio Calico and some new stickers from Echo Park. Its a layout of Will on his first day back at school this year.

Been Scrappin....

Well I have just returned from another awesome retreat run by Paula Cook and Michele Humphreys and i once again had a BLAST!!!! Those ladies are the most amazing people and I love catching upwith each and everyone of them!! Vik you Rok!!!!!! you make me smile...........even though not everything was "my cupof tea"!!! And your Vikki philosophies ...well lets just say you need to write a book!!!!!
So I travelled with thegorgeous Tracey and OMG I walked into her awesome store at Ballarat  (Imagination Factory!)and HAD to spend up big time!!!!!!!!! (LOL!!!)

So I conducted a blind scrap for the ladies  and I think they loved doing this so here is my Layout for the blind scrap. its a LO of Maya. Maya always tells me she loves me several times a day.....just out of the blue, anywhere any place and it melts my heart each and every time she says it.

The next was a sample I did for  a mini technique class. We played with paint, creating the cool cardstock paper as a featue instead of patterned paper, some distressing and just different ways to create layouts using a sketch as a guide.

While at the retreat I also created these LOs for various challenges...

Thisone is for the White with one challenge. This month the challenge is to add brown and vintage items.

This one is for Kraft it up. this month was a color combo challenge. The colors were orange, blue and black.

Then I did the first February sketch at Stuck Sketches.This is of Will and his best friend Archer.

I also completed the challenge for scrap the girls BUT I decided after completing the layout that it needed some misting and I got some on my photos...grrrrr. So will reprint photos tomorrow and post then!!

Getting Closer......

....to Paula's next retreat and I am excited!!!! I havent seen these girls for such a long time and I LOVE them all!!! 
And my scrappy weekend I am organising is FINALLY organised and booked out!!!!! YAH! So that will be fun too!!!
I have been scrappin although some layouts are layouts I have created for somefun classes for Miss Paula and one is for Show us your stuff! Have you been and had a go at this challenge site yet???? Why not...off you go, you'll love it!!!
So here are some I have created "just because". I am saving all the monthly challenges to do while at the retreat next weekend!!!
This is an older photo of them both but came across it and scrapped this layout. I didnt take close ups....being lazy but I have sewn on each heart.

These photos were taken a few weeks ago while I was playing with my camera. Maya was walking around the edge of the sandpit....what you cant see is Marli following her every step! It was very cute!!!This layout turned out a bit busier than I had imagined but it was fun!!! Trying to use up older stuff to make way for all that new CHA product coming in soon!!!!! Im in love with Bella blvd ranges and Crate...cant wait to get them to have a play!!
