MAYA'S 2ND BIRTHDAY!!!

MY BABY HAS TURNED 2......HOW TIME FLIES.

On Saturday we celebrated Maya's second birthday.We had a small party at home with just family. She had so much fun!!! We gave her a bike and she received so many presents. Especially HI-5 DVDS! At least now I won't be going insane listening and watching the same few HI-5 movies over and over!!!Here's some piccies!

SHE WAS SO EXCITED WHEN EVERYONE SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY....SHE SAID "THANK-YOU".......SO ADORABLE!

IT WAS SO GORGEOUS....SHE READ EVERY CARD BEFORE OPENING HER PRESENTS.....

Well I just received my first kit from SCRAPAPPLE so I am off to be creative!!!! TFL.xx

FEBRUARY KITS FOR PAULA'S SCRAPBOOKING PLACE.....

I have just finished off the samples for Paula's kits and thought I would post them on here to show you.

The first kit this month is based on a birthday theme. I did this LAYOUT OF WILL'S 5TH BIRTHDAY......

I love the Scenic Paper Route papers and sticker sheet in this kit...great for birthday pages and projects.

With the scraps and leftover cardstock stickers I created 3 BIRTHDAY CARDS...

The next sample I made for Paula was a SCHOOL NOTE DISPLAY......

This is a wall hanging that you can attatch all your important schoolnotes to, or display your child's work and certificates. the photo is not attatched yet....because Will doesn't go to school until Tuesday( I can't believe it!!!!)I will show you without a photo until I get a photo

The photo is attatched with a paper clip so each year or through the year you can change the photo

The kit contained cool KI Memories papers and a large chipboard frame. This was so much fun to make...

CANVAS CLASS AT TALK SCRAPPIN.......

As promised here are the canvases I will be teachng in Portland next month. You can choose to do just one 12x12in canvas or the full set of three. You select your own papers and the rest is supplied in a kit. they are great fun to make and make a great feature on your wall.....or make them as a gift! Anyway here they are...

KIM ARCHER CLASSES

A couple of weeks ago I did a class on Kim Archer's website WORKSHOPS @ HOME.

It was called SEVEN.....which meant each day for a week there was a new layout loaded into the classroon area for me to do at my leisure.It was so much fun......

HERE ARE SOME OF THE LAYOUTS I COMPLETED. I HAVEN'T QUITE FINISHED LAYOUT #7 YET.

I enjoyed this layout so much that i recreated another layout of Maya called

LAYOUT #5 WAS GIFTS..................

iI did this layout about Nellie G buttons.....They looked so funky and colorful! Kim liked them too so Janelle is offering them as a giveaway on Kim's next class!

LAYOUT #6 WAS A DAY AT THE ZOO.........

(Kim's layout was actually about spending christmas time at the beach!

AND I HAVEN'T QUITE FINISHED LAYOUT #7 YET! It is about 2009 the year ahead.

I strongly reccomend that you do some of Kim's classes. She and her DT are so inspirational

I am SOOO excited!!! I am now a member of the scrapapple design team!!! It is like a dream come true! I am now on two design teams this year AND I will be teaching in Melbourne for Paula and at a great shop in Portland called TALK SCRAPPIN!

I thought that I would start the year off by posting some layouts. Life has been so busy with christmas and new year that I haven't had ant time at all to post......although I admit I have been finding time to scrap!!!! And loving it!!!

Just before christmas I went away with some girlfriends to scrap all weekend.We rented a little cabin at the Narrawong caravan and had the best time.Scrapped, drank way too much scotch and enjoyed a giggle or three! Here are some of the layouts I completed over this weekend.. and some others that I just plain forgot to post.....

These next two layouts I am very excited about because they are done as part of a design team project that I am now doing. After attendinga retreat in Melbourne Paula Cook from Paulas scrapbookingplace in Melbourne invited me to be on her design team.I was very excited!
